Son #2 and I flew to Vancouver yesterday as we'd lined up several appointments for him over 2 days. My long-time friend L and her son met up with us for the evening! We had a lot of fun - dinner at Monk McQueens, a visit with her parents and neice, and ice cream at "de la Casa". We moved from the area about 8 years ago so it's always nice to come back and visit our friends and family who still live here.
